About Personal Coaching at Tapestry

Do you ask yourself these questions?

  • How do I find – and live – my calling, my purpose, and my passion in life?
  • Is this it? Is this what my life was meant to be?
  • Why do I keep doing the same things over and over again, even when the results are not what I want? Am I my own worst enemy?
  • How can I design a different kind of life for myself moving forward?
  • Where do I really fit in?
  • Why don't I make the changes I know I need to make to have the life I know I deserve?

If these are the kinds of questions you tend to ponder, especially if the questions don't seem to have good answers, you may be a good candidate for life and personal coaching.

My Approach to Life and Personal Coaching

My approach to life and personal coaching is extremely practical and, at the same time, I have no problem stepping into a deep spiritual conversation with a client if that is what is called for in the moment. I believe in helping clients determine what they want as quickly as possible and then supporting them to create a plan that will ensure that they reach their goals. I believe that some action is better than no action and I see great value in going after low hanging fruit.

Using a common sense, down to earth approach, I help clients stay grounded in reality while pursuing their dreams. If I believe a client is off track or has wandered off into "la la land;" my job is to speak up and say just that. I'm told I have an uncanny ability to remember even the smallest details from coaching conversations and an ability to tie all the pieces together to help clients make sense of the bigger picture.

Personal coaching involves encouraging clients to ask themselves – and answer – some of life's "big questions." My role as your personal coach is to help you understand the right questions to ask, whether they are in the realm of the practical, the financial, the physical, the spiritual, or related to major change and transition.

The Benefits of Life and Personal Coaching

  • Feeling supported. Knowing that you have a place to open up and explore difficult situations, new opportunities, or challenges you might be facing.
  • A genuine relationship. A place where factual and dependable communication is available to you. Trust that conversations and solutions are held in confidence.
  • Access to experience and resources that may not be easy for you to find elsewhere.
  • A new sense of empowerment. The coaching process invites you to assume responsibility and take charge of your life.
  • Support – rather than judgment – is offered. Objective feedback and help with discernment is readily available.
  • The "big picture" is always up for discussion and exploration.

How Does Coaching Work?
First, you engage in an initial complimentary session to determine if personal coaching is indeed what you need – if it is a "good fit." At that point, if you are fairly certain you would benefit from coaching, a series of telephone sessions are scheduled at your convenience over a period generally lasting 6-12 months. Sessions tend to run about 45 minutes in length and are conducted weekly or bi-weekly, depending on the needs of the client. Between sessions you will mostly like have action steps to take and you may be in touch with your coach via e-mail.

If you feel that you would benefit from life and personal coaching at this point in time – if you are truly committed to making changes that will improve the quality or your life – please contact me to arrange a complimentary, introductory coaching session today.

Enlightenment is not learning but an unlearning, a letting go of all the fears we've gathered as we've walked the path of life.
